We make athletic apparel for women who experience stress urinary incontinence (SUI).  SUI is the involuntary release of urine during activities such as running, weight-lifting, jumping or even just sneezing.  About 45% of elite women athletes and half of the rest of us will suffer some form of urinary incontinence in our lifetime.  Many women assume SUI just comes with the territory of childbirth, menopause and aging, but even young elite athletes can suffer from it!  Embarrassment prevents us from talking to our healthcare providers so we ignore it. Eventually, many of us drop out of physical activity altogether.  

Prickly Pear Sports is out to change that.

The soft-on-your-skin interior gusset takes care of any leaks that happen along the course, or trail, or while you’re doing that last, impossible sit-up.
